The Role

We now have an opportunity for a Rope Access Technician.

The role is very diversified and no two days will be the same.  Duties include but not limited to;

• Bridge inspection and maintenance off rope
• Lighting and Communication tower inspections and maintenance off rope
• Building construction duties.
• Signage installation,
• Service and install of Building Maintenance Units (BMU's)
• Install and service abseil systems, rooftop walkways and hand rails
• Install ladder and Fall Arrest systems, 
• Service winches for the fire service

What We Are Looking For

This is a Specialist role and the Qualifications and Skills required include;

• Rope Access (IRATA L3 or NZ ROPE NZQA L4)
• Preferred Hands on Experience in working with TOOLS
• Knowledge/Experience as Handyperson/Carpenter/Mechanical aptitude will be an important advantage. 
• NDT inspector (Optional)
• Wielder (Optional)
• Derrick inspection (Optional)
• Anchor installation 
• Lifting loads with Rope Access systems, winches and cranes
• Collation of details reports (PC proficient with word, EXL, CAD systems for design) (Optional)

Training will be provided. 

Pay varies with level of experience.
