Job Description:

REQUIRED Core Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A current Drivers License is essential
  • Data Entry / Xero Accounting experience
  • Good desktop skills; Word and Excel
  • Manage Staff Inductions; New employee HR and H&S paperwork. Create personnel files.
  • Disciplinary Paperwork and delivery/meetings
  • 45 staff / 7 Crews / 1 Workshop with 4 mechanics/engineers
  • Manage PPE Uniform distribution and ordering
  • Assist in accident investigations and prevailing paperwork
  • Workplace Urine Drug Testing; training will be provided
  • Coordinate and run monthly Health and Safety Meetings at Forest Crew sites
  • Regular travel to Forest Crews; Auckland, Dargaville and north of Whangarei
  • Health and Safety Champion – lead by example
  • Operation Audits – manage all actions required in agreed deadlines
  • Fleet management of RUC, Rego and service
  • Ensure timely notifications to crew personnel; Safety Alerts, Industry alerts
  • Manage Bonus information
  • Manage and maintain Driver Check
  • Input Audit results into OSHTRAK. Chase up and close off actions.
  • Manage Incident Reporting
  • Order Training Books – follow up on staff progress. Update ROL Master
  • Month End reporting to various Forest Managers
  • Upkeep of H&S Management Programme and documents
  • Annual Leave Register
  • Photocopying and binding of daily workbooks
  • Procurement of crew supplies and delivery of same The successful candidate must pass a pre employment drug and alcohol test. Company vehicle supplied
