Location: Waikato Region （Hamilton）

Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 40 hours/per week from Monday to Sunday), Permanent

Our pay: $27.76 - $28 per hour

We are a reputable restaurant based in Hamilton. To support our growth, we are now looking for 4 Cooks to join our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for food, great taste buds, attention to details, ability to multitask, intiative, teamwork, and time management skills. The ideal candidates should have a relevant qualification or at least 1 years’ work experience in cooking.

key responsibilities and tasks: 

• Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Checking ingredients to make sure the quality and freshness
• Preparing and Cooking food in various utensils and grillers
• Seasoning, portioning, adding sauces to the food during/after cooking
• Preparing food to meet client’s taste and dietary needs
• Arrange food on plates or wrap it to be taken away
• Storing and reserving food
• Assisting in planning menus, estimating food and labour costs
• Assisting in ordering food supplies and other food and ingredients
• May assist with training kitchen hands

To be successful you will need:

• One year work experience, or 
• Certificate from a culinary school will be an advantage
