They work on commercial, government and high-end residential projects, with discerning customers that have expectations that the technology is simple, intuitive, and elegant in design. 

They collaborate closely with architects and interior designers, bringing technology and design together, creating systems that are beautiful, as well as effective, to ultimately ensure a world-class home technology user experience.

They are proud of their sustainability focus and are constantly looking to introduce features that further reduce a buildings excess energy consumption, making it not only better for the environment, but also for the bank balance. 

Their channel to market is through specialist Electrical Integrators, Electricians, Electrical Wholesalers, Interiors Designers, Architects and Engineers, who are accustomed to the absolute best products, industry leading training, excellent design, sales, and technical support. 

 

The Role: 

 On their behalf, we are seeking a very consultative, relationship focused Account Manager, who will partner with the customer base, strengthen relationships, support, and add value to their business.

While we are keen on finding an experienced sales person from the industry, or a comparable industry, we also would look at an up and  coming Account Manager, who is highly interested in the industry, will be keen to learn and will enjoy some career development. ( Amazing opportunity) !

 
More specifically: 

  • Sales and account management activities to increase business from specialist Electrical Integrators, Electricians and Electrical Wholesalers. 
  • Working with Interior Designers, Architects and Engineers to ensure the specification of products into the projects they are working on 
  • Managing relationships with all customers, to enable sales growth
  • Proactively and strategically target and develop sales with new customers 
  • Provide customer training and support
  • Be involved in customer projects. Offers advice, problem solves issues
  • Prepare pricing and job quoting.
  • Networking and building relationships with existing and new customers
  • Securing opportunities to quote and be invited to work on repeat projects 
  • Develop a pipeline of upcoming work and projects,
  • Continually strives to close sales and increase market

The right person will be focused on developing a strong market presence, ensuring the company is “front of mind” when a project is in planning stage and will secure opportunities to quote on projects at every opportunity.

About You:

  • A thirst for learning and will put effort into growing their product knowledge
  • Demonstrate high level relationship management skills
  • Experience identifying new business growth opportunities
  • Enjoys networking and building industry contacts. It is not a chore!
  • A strong capability in the  sales process
  • Ideally has some experience working with either the A & D, Electrical Contracting, Electrical  or Mechanical Engineering markets 
  • Industry experience or comparable technical industry experience.
  • Tenacious, enthusiastic, positive, have a “Make it happen” attitude.
  • A contributing and collaborative team member 
  • A drive to consistently exceed customer expectations.
