Te Pou Tokomanawa is responsible for the day-to-day provision of shared services across the Whakatōhea Māori Trust Board Group encompassing finance, Quality, Policy, Property and Asset Management, Information Technology, Health and Safety, and other business support activities.
The role of the Property Officer will be responsible for managing residential and commercial properties. This includes ensuring maintenance requirements, legislative and local government and Regional Council obligations are met.
You will manage all leases, ensuring they are current and adhered to, arrange all property maintenance requests and building a strong relationship with tenants, contractors, and suppliers.
In addition, you will develop and implement Property Plans as well as ensuring any project or capital works undertaken are completed within agreed timeframes and budget requirements.
A focus on meeting the obligations of health safety is essential in this role.
