Group Dealer Development Executive

Musterrecruit is recruiting a Group Dealer Development Executive to work for an NZ owned automotive distributor, supporting three fantastic brands.

We are searching for a multitalented individual to join their highly driven team working nationally, based out of Mount Wellington.

The purpose of the Group Dealer Development Executive's role is to assist the existing team with development and growth of the Hyundai, Isuzu Utes and Renault Dealer Networks. At the same time, enhancing the partnership experience and maximising performance.

The role encompasses the below, plus more

  • Assist and take responsibility for dealer projects as required
  • Developing and maintaining a reputation for being 'Useful' to the Dealer Network, whilst maintaining the company's business objectives and its Vision & Values
  • Support maintenance of dealer training, enrolments, logistics and certifications
  • Assess the dealer training needs across sales/parts and service
  • Ensure the brands' training academy experience is maintained
  • Oversee the successful execution of the stated objectives set for Dealer Development related activity
  • Assist dealers with event co-ordination and attendance for conferences and shows
  • Adopt an 'Always On' mentality that is recognised throughout the organisation and its network
  • Ad-hoc dealer/competition analysis to increase revenue for all departments
  • Help with yearly recognitions and awards
  • To maintain an understanding of various Support Platforms to ensure seamless operation of those platforms at Dealer level
  • Maintain obligations surrounding submission of regular monthly reports
  • Consistently seek opportunities for the group and its Dealer Network to gain a competitive advantage within the industry and communicate those opportunities to the management team
  • On board new dealerships effectively across the network, providing support where needed

This position requires an automotive professional who has been exposed to all aspects of the automotive business, either with a distributor or in a franchise environment.

You will need to have sound business acumen, excellent organisational skills, hold the ability to work under pressure and see the future bigger picture.

This role will initially see you helping the existing team, whilst learning their systems and procedures, ideally giving you a broad understanding of the role to start managing visits as and when required.
