Day Cleaner for Retail Site

• 40+ hours per week
• Monday – Friday
• Great opportunity based in Lunn Ave, Mt Wellington

Building Service Contractors of NZ (BSCNZ) is the trade association for the NZ Cleaning industry - we represent many employers who require the services of Commercial Cleaners throughout NZ.

You will be employed directly by one of our members who will provide you with an Employment Agreement, tools of trade and training required to fulfil this role  

Short Description

Cleaners provide a range of cleaning services to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene while presenting a professional and safe environment for all. 

Shift Details

• Monday –Friday
• 10.00 am – 4.30 pm
• 30 hours per week

Responsibilities include

• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping
• Rest rooms  (yes that’s toilets)
• Windows/Glass
• Rubbish removal
• Surface wiping, dusting
• Stock replenishment

You will ideally have

• Commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to get to and from work daily
• Reliable and motivated to do a great job every day
• Strong health and safety focus
• A can-do attitude.
• No criminal convictions
• You must be able to speak and understand English to a good level, as all H&S and instructions are in English only
• Strong attention to detail
• Focus on customer service and delivery of outcomes
• Personal drive to do your best work!
• Fit and healthy as this is manual work and you will be required to stand for the entire shift.
• A willingness to learn and grow with the role
• Fully vaccinated against COVID
• Tidy presentation
