ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is an established business in Auckland, specialising in the fabrication and installation of custom Balustrades, Handrails, Panels and more.
THE OPPORTUNITY
If you're a practical and experienced Stainless-Steel Fabricator who enjoys a variety of projects and assignments, we'd love to hear from you. Our client offers a stable work environment, plenty of overtime plenty of variety in projects, and you will enjoy working for a company with an impeccable reputation for producing quality work.
Duties include:
· Safe operation & use of equipment and tools including TIG/MIG welder, press brake, guillotine, grinder, polisher, cutting etc
· Interpret designs off plans and marking jobs from a flat sheet of stainless
· Responsible for own projects end to end
· Installation of finished product offsite (domestic and commercial)
· Support and assist the team as needed on various projects
WHAT YOU'LL BRING WITH YOU
Our ideal candidate will have 2 or more years’ experience in stainless steel fabrication, but all experience considered. A relevant trade certification is desirable but not essential.
Most importantly you will have a meticulous eye for detail and take pride in producing a quality product to exacting standards and:
· have proven practical knowledge of the principles of fabrication
· Be a flexible team player who will chip in as needed to get projects completed on time
· Demonstrate good numeracy, literacy & problem-solving ability
· Interpret and apply plans and designs
· Take responsibility for own work and projects
· Will seek advice from team / manager when needed
· Be trainable and willing to learn and take direction
· Be reliable and motivated
· Have a current drivers licence (an advantage)
