Job Title: Cafe Supervisor in a Retirement Village Location: West Auckland Hours: Rostered shifts between Mon and Saturday or Sunday and Friday - 5 days a week role (depends on cafe needs time/week) 40 hrs Salary: $25 per hour
About the Cafe Supervisor role Reporting to the Kitchen Manager in this retirement village, this opportunity is available for an experienced Cafe Supervisor who has experience in leading a team.
You will be responsible for managing a team of 3-4 kitchen hands. The team is well established and stable. The cafe is modern and a nice area for the residents.
What you will need to apply for this Cafe Supervisor role:
supervisory/management role
Exceptional barista skills and able to deliver outstanding customer service and be able to effortlessly juggle several tasks at once with a smile
Financial know-how as you will be responsible for the Café profit & loss with a focus on growing revenue
Hygiene & Food Handling Certificate will be advantageous
A current Manager's Certificate under the Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act and have a good knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages would also be advantageous
This is a front of House role, so it is essential that you have excellent communication and presentation skills.
