Job description

Happy Hire is New Zealand’s leading marquee and party hire specialist, from marquees to furniture, disco lights to bouncy castles we have your event covered.

Our busy Wellington / Christchurch and Dunedin Branches service birthday’s, Wedding’s, Corporate / Community Event’s and Festivals throughout the region!

We are looking for a fixed term staff - to help with the set up and pack down of events.

Reporting to and working closely with our Regional Managers:

*Set up and dismantle of marquees (full training provided)
*Assisting with party and event hire set ups throughout the region
*Assising with yard organisation and cleanliness of gear

This is a fixed term position from 1 September - 1 March (possibly more) with minimum hours provided around 30-40.

Job requirements

We are looking for someone who: Likes working outdoors / physical work Is punctual, ontime and reliable Is flexible to the ever changing landscape of events and last minute jobs Can work well in a small team environment Is pragmatic and can follow instructions Can drive is a preference - A full manual licence is preferred (driving class 1 - with the possibility of class 2 training and forklift licence offered)
