Aged Care Nurse (Can be a Registered Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse)
Location: Epsom Salary: $32 per hour Permanent, 32 hours per week (flexible for you to choose the days you work) Sat, Sun 06:45-15:15 and Mon-Tues-Wed 14:45-23:15 Weds-Sun 14:45-23:15 (x2 positions) ” Hours: AM's & PM's
About the job A great opportunity is available for a Registered Nures or an Enrolled Nurse to join a friendly, experienced team of nurses and caregivers helping them to provide the highest possible degree of direct care and service by assisting our client's residents to meet their emotional, social, and spiritual needs.

Some of the responsibilities for the Registered Nurse role will be:
Delivering exceptional care and demonstrate this by leading by example to other staff (best practice)
Regularly monitoring and evaluating response to planned care.
Communicating with residents and their families/whanau in order to enhance resident care. Provide care plans for residents as required
Complete nursing assessments of residents
Maintaining constant accurate documentation
Ensure documentation is accurate
Ensuring that health & safety standards are adhered to
Assisting with audit preparation
About our client
To be considered for this Registered Nurse role, you must have:
Current Practicing Certificate RN or EN
Eligibility to work in NZ.
Honesty and integrity – police vetting is required.
High energy, physical fitness, and enthusiasm
InterRAI trained (preferred)
Excellent communication skills
Good computer skills
Kind, caring, and patient manner

12 months of nursing experience in New Zealand
Excellent communication skills
Being able to work alone as the only RN on shift as this is a night shift.
