IT Systems Engineer - East Tamaki

The main objective of this role is to communicate and collaborate with a variety of people, such as clients, vendors, management and information technology (IT) staff during the creation and maintenance of IT Systems. All while maintaining the highest standard of project delivery as well as having a security first mindset and ensure security is interwoven throughout all activities and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring IT systems and infrastructure performance, ensure pro-active resolution of problems and that security is not compromised
• Automation of tasks and monitoring their effectiveness.
• Installation and maintenance of software including operating systems using Microsoft InTune and SCCM.
• Responding to and investigation of identified security issues.
• Creating and maintenance of documentation and procedures to support the company's activities.

Key Attributes

• Proven track record of monitoring and maintaining networks (LAN, SD- WAN, WLAN) and security appliances (Firewalls, IPS, Netscaler, Cisco etc).
• Ability to formulate and design the security system to maintain data safety
• Cloud experience especially Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure
• Technical experience in VMware
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
