The Company: 

My clients are the leading supplier of electronic products to the motorsport industry. Their products can be found on a whole range of vehicles from superbikes to V8 Supercars; jetpacks to Toyota Racing Series cars, they are renowned for their service and knowledge, supplying their industry, with the right parts, and when they need them.

They are the experts in their industry and are busy.  With some further expansion plans, both in New Zealand and overseas, they are keen on strengthening their Mt Wellington based team.

The Role:

They are looking to hire a switched on, enthusiastic team member to add value to their close-knit team, working across sales support, customer service, and internal sales functions.

This will be a great role for someone who has some real interest in the automotive industry. Maybe you have worked in a retail or trade parts role (like Repco), or maybe have a customer service type background and just have a massive personal interest in cars and the motorsport industry.

Role Responsibilities:

• First point of contact for visitors and customers
• All front office duties including phones, emails, website enquiries, etc
• Talking to customers, understanding their requirements and suggesting suitable products
• Process of customer orders
• Provide technical sales support where appropriate
• Maintaining the online presence of the company, with updates to the website and social media sites
• Build relationships with repeat customers, enjoy a bit of banter and always provide exceptional service. 
• Learn and upskill and grow product knowledge
• Assisting in the support to the warehouse function
• Providing support to management

About You:

• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Technically minded. Technology savvy.
• A passion for cars would be ideal – if you know your way around an engineer – even better!
• Professional grooming and presentation. Uniform provided.
• A solid grasp of the MS Office suite
• Problem-solving skills. Uses initiative
• High level of attention to detail
• Current driving license and own transport
• A real desire to help other people and provide good customer service
•  Enthusiasm to take ownership and add value to a team
• Someone who really wants to learn and develop in a company 

What’s On Offer:

• $60,000 - $65,000 neg on experience
• Based in Mt Wellington with carparking provided
