Our Client:
Our client has been supplying IT support to businesses that specialise in manufacturing, construction, and multi-site retail since 2002. Their team have a wealth of experience managing IT systems with companies of all sizes. Based on Auckland's North Shore, you will be supported by a group of passionate IT professionals to help develop your career. 
 
The role:
As the onsite  ICT Technical Engineer, this role supports a leading NZ Trade company, where you will provide support to a mobile workforce of 120 staff (in Auckland( and an additional 30 staff in HQ (NorthShore). 
 
Day-to-day accountabilities include;
  • Comprehensive Office 365 administration (user management, permissions, group policies)
  • Windows Desktop (10 and 11) support and troubleshooting. 
  • Networking (Routers, switches, wireless access points, and ubiquiti equipment)
  • SharePoint (permissions, site creation, syncing of folders with One Drive & Sharing folders & files)
  • Maintenance and AV - Maintaining anti-virus products, escalating backup failures and patching servers once a quarter. 
  • Hardware troubleshooting
  • Software troubleshooting
  • Operating hours: 07.30 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday and as required based on requirements.

What are we looking for:
You will need to demonstrate a minimum of 12 months of commercial experience in an onsite engineer role previously. It would be beneficial if you have experience supporting a broad user base in the trade sector.
 
Technical requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a Desktop Support role (onsite). 
  • Comprehensive Office 365 administration (user management, permissions, group policies)
