We’re on the lookout for a Skilled Cabinetmaker to become a part of a great Joinery team.
It’s an excellent opportunity to join a JMF registered, well equipped Joinery/Cabinetry workshop with CNC and IMOS capabilities.
We’re also part of a larger construction business so there is plenty of scope for development.
The business is growing and has a good forward workload.
This role will see you manufacturing mid to high end kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes and various other cabinetry.
Experience in timber window & door joinery would be a bonus.
You will need to be able to read plans & work to a high standard. You will have a strong eye for detail, take care & pride in your work and be able to work as part of a team.
A full driver’s license would be a plus.

Job requirements
* Construct and assemble cabinet components, making sure that all pieces fit the dimensions specified
* Verify and double check all calculations to ensure alignment of doors, hinges and side panels, always using design plans for reference
* Clean and repair all work equipment, including and not limited to handsaws, saws, skill saws, various sanding and drilling tools
* Be accurate with measurements and markings ensuring materials will be used efficiently and the budgetary restrictions are met
* Installation of appropriate hardware, including but not limited to hinges and handles, and be able to order replacement materials when required
* Match materials and grains to create a uniform appearance for all the matching units
* Reinforce joints and attachments to maximize durability and sturdiness without compromising functionality or aesthetic appeal
* Always maintain a safe working environment by cleaning and/ or disposing of old materials
