Building Service Contractors of NZ (BSCNZ) is the trade association for the NZ Cleaning industry - we represent many employers who require the services of Commercial Cleaners and associated services throughout NZ.

You will be employed directly by one of our Members who will provide you with an Employment Agreement, uniform, company car and any required PPE.  Previous Commercial Cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. All necessary training and support for this important role will be given.

 

SHIFT DETAILS

40+ hours per week

• Monday – Sunday
• 7.00 am start on a rostered basis

You must be available for every shift rain hail or shine even on public holidays.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Providing cleaning services to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within a correctional facility

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the role may include but will not be limited to the following daily tasks

• Commercial cleaning
• Mopping, Vacuuming, Sweeping
• Rubbish removal,
• Cleaning of toilets, kitchens etc
• Replenishing stocks
• Surface wiping
• Bio cleans
• Trauma cleans
• COVID sanitisation

Job requirements

WHAT DO I NEED? Ability to get to work each shift Reliability and motivation to want to do a great job Experienced Cleaner preferred, but not essential. Proactive and able to work well on your own A strong stomach because lets face it you will see all sorts working in this environment Be fit and healthy - as Cleaning is a manual job and is hard work! Moderate lifting maybe required this role. Have nil convictions and be able to pass a Ministry of Justice Security check. Be available for every shift and to pick up extra is required to cover staff absences You must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 as per government mandate and be willing to undergo regular surveillance screening BACK TO LISTING
