Purchasing & Gatehouse Supervisor - Pokeno

The purpose of this role is to support a Hynds friendly site welcome - as the ‘gateway into our flagship manufacturing site at Pokeno. Including promoting customer friendly, safe, and efficient operation of our Gatehouse entry and exit point - as the governing point for all on-site logistics and visitor entry movements. As well as performing supervisory functions for distribution and inventory control processes for the site and performing Purchase Order functions/processes for the site and managing Workflows

Key Responsibilities

• Organising processes for Inwards & Outwards Barrier control for ‘opening hours and ‘after-hours'
• Allocating resources and delegating tasks / projects in a way that supports and stretches team members to achieve desired individual and team outcomes
• Inventory control coordination for inventory and raw material cycle counts and stocktakes
• Managing Workflows to ensure these are kept up to date and processed for timely payment
• Ensuring all Contractors and Visitors have the Correct PPE before entering site.
• Assisting with onboarding and site induction processes for new employees

• Ability to lead small teams and manage team members to perform to the best of their abilities
• Excellent customer service skills are paramount to ensure a strong customer relationship and that all customers' needs are met
• Can demonstrate business acumen and speak in clear business language
• Relevant experience to guide decisions and will back themselves
