About the Company
 

The DREAMWOOD brand was established in 2015 and specialises in the sale and installation of wooden floors. DREAMWOOD’s mission is to satisfy customers with world class products.

We are now looking for TWO floor installers to join us in Auckland to ensure that all products are produced to meet or exceed quality standards and in a safe manner. You will be expected to work in Auckland.

Duties 

• Scrape and sand floor edges and areas inaccessible to floor sanders, using scrapers, disk-type sanders, and sandpaper.
• Measure areas to be covered, and estimate and order quantities of floor coverings
• Lay covering materials over the floor, match patterns, and trim edges
• Use sanding machines to smooth floors
• Fix underlays of hardboard sheets, rubber or felt
• Remove excess glue from joints, using knives, scrapers, or wood chisels.
• Apply filler compound and coats of finish to floors to seal wood
• Follow any current and updated duty lists along with organization’s instructions
• Excellent Customer service as you will be working in peoples homes.
• Installation of Solid & Engineered Timber, glue down timber floors as well as floating timber and laminate. 
• Communicate with the office when job is completed. 

Requirements:

You must demonstrate you possess the following experience, skill and knowledge:

• Have at least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoy practical work
• Have good hand-eye coordination
• Have normal colour vision
• Have a good work ethic
• Be willing to learn

• Your hourly rate will be $28- $30 per hour depending on your experience
