About the role In summary, the new Anaesthetic Technician will be responsible for providing professional, technical, and clinical assistance to the anesthetists, along with contributing to the maintenance of high quality and safe administration of anaesthesia to patients

Registered or be eligible for registration with the Medical Sciences of New Zealand (MSCNZ)
Hold a current APC
Excellent communication skills
Is confident and appropriately assertive in dealing with others
Ability to deal with conflict effectively.
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations as you will need to put patients at ease from time to time.
Ability to build a quick trusting rapport with patients and staff
