A well-established building company: HuaQiang Construction ltd and now enlarging its team to cope with the fast development. We are looking for Carpenter Assistant!
Job Tasks:
Assisting the carpenter to plan ordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layout
Helping the carpenter to construct building frames and install cladding on the inside and outside of buildings measuring and cutting materials to the right size and shape
Assisting with assembling and nailing the prepared wood parts to form structures and fittings
Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
Assembling and breaking down barricades, temporary structures, and scaffolding.
Removing debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from sites.
Cleaning the construction site by removing hazards materials and debris from the worksite

Location: Auckland
Job type: Full-time Permanent
Number of positions for this job: up to 5
Pay rate: from $27.76 to $28 per hour
Days required: 5-6 days/week, roaster may apply
Hours per week: At least 40, maximum 50 hours/week
Job Requirement
Prior work experience is not required but would be an advantage

Self-motivated
Clean non-criminal record
