Batch Plant Operator - Pokeno

The role:

Reporting to the Materials and Quality Manager you will be responsible for the preparation of determined concrete mix recipes via the automated process control system and central mixers. You will control raw materials including routine prestart checks and basic preventative maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring Health and Safety policies being adhered to in the Batch Plant area
• Coordinating individuals and teams to facilitate the efficient operations of the multiple areas supplied on site
• Perform the required cleaning and maintenance plan for the Batch Plant.
• Provide technical expertise in concrete and concrete manufacturing
• Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and Hynds policies across the Pokeno site

Key Attributes:

• 2 + years batching experience
• Exposure to automated processes
• Strong communication skills
• Accurate time keeping with the ability to work to deadlines
• A strong work ethic with a willingness to produce quality product efficiently every time
