Job description

Our client is looking for a Business Support Manager who will lead a team of five staff in their CBD location. Your focus will be providing efficient, responsive, customer-centric administration and business support services. 

Key aspects of the role: 

  • People management
  • H&S Risk register & action plan
  • Corporate accountability reporting (annual report, estimates, annual review)
  • Business planning, quarterly reporting
  • Managing business support 
  • Oversight of all on/off boarding and group staff induction
  • Budgeting for Group 
  • People management

You will have experience in leading a small business support services team to work effectively and collaboratively.

To be successful in this role ideally you will have:

  • Excellent administration and coordination experience at a team leader or manager level
  • Knowledge and experience across a range of administrative and business support policies and procedures
  • Experience of working with external service providers including ongoing maintenance of quality service provision of third party providers
  • Proven organisational skills, including an ability to productively supervise a team and set team work plans and priorities
  • Strong motivational skills to lead staff and contractors to higher performance
  • Strong personal prioritisation and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, tact and diplomacy when dealing with confidential issues
  • High level of computer literacy including MS Office applications, and efficient use of other information systems and technology (i.e. intranet, document management systems)
