Jensen Steel specialises in providing a service that includes Structural Steel Detailing, Project Management, Fabrication, Industrial Coating and Site Installation. We work directly with New Zealand’s larger construction companies on a diverse range of projects servicing primary industry, manufacturing, Infrastructure, commercial/ retail , recreational.

The successful applicant will have the support of an enthusiastic, collaborative team environment. This role would suit someone who understands the requirement to fully support an organisation through the entire process from Detailing- to manufacture - to successful installation on Site .

If you are interested in this opportunity-

• Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience in structural steel detailing.
• Be competent in the use of Tekla Detailing systems or a similar type CAD system.
• Knowledge of NZS 3404 would be an advantage.
• Experience on larger construction projects would be an advantage.
• Good Verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and Windows Programmes.
• An understanding of Steel estimation systems will be an advantage.
• Have some experience with Site Surveying and measures.
