Hands on Cleaning Supervisor

Building Service Contractors of NZ (BSCNZ) is the trade association for the NZ Cleaning industry - we represent many employers who require the services of Commercial Cleaners throughout NZ.

You will be employed directly by one of our Members who will provide you with an employment agreement, uniform, and any required PPE.  Previous Commercial Cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Work alongside and supervise a team of cleaners providing cleaning services to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at a variety of locations in the Wellington region.

SHIFT DETAILS:

• Various start and finish times but a minimum of 6 hours per day
• Generally, Monday to Friday but some weekend work maybe required
• 30+ hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

• Supervising a team of cleaners
• Mopping, vacuuming and sweeping
• Rubbish removal
• Bathrooms, kitchens
• Window cleaning
• Surface wiping and sanitation

WHAT DO I NEED?

• FULL or RESTRICTED MANUAL drivers licence
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Reliability and motivation to want to do a great job every time for this client.
• You must have an eye for detail.
• Be fit and healthy - as Cleaning is a manual job and is hard work!
• Flexible and be available for every shift.
• You must be able to speak, read and write English to a good level, as all H&S and instructions are in English only.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred but not essential
