We are looking for an Infrastructure Lead for one of our clients based in Auckland. Our client is a Global IT giant and with a large presence in Australasia.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining team focus and effective prioritization
Budgeting input and monitoring
Collaboratively defining longer-term strategies
Disaster recovery and testing
Project planning
Supplier contract negotiation and review
Internal process improvements and compliance
Staff development
You should have experience in the below areas:
Operating Systems (Windows, Linux)
Database (Oracle, SQL)
Network (F5, Checkpoint/Juniper, Cisco)
Storage
Virtualisation infrastructure (VMWare/OVM)
Cloud Infrastructure platform deployment and management (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Container platform deployment and management (Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
Security Infrastructure
JOB DESCRIPTION
An established reputation as a leader in Information Management, IT infrastructure and Information Systems development and support
Solid experience within the Infrastructure Domain mentioned
Demonstrable success in influencing and developing positions of trust with senior management
Previous experience managing multiple teams
Experience in identifying business needs and providing advice and assistance in order to meet the business requirements
Proven experience in successfully delivering large, complex IT projects
Minimum 10 years' experience in managing technical teams in medium to large commercial environments
