Our Ecology teams are growing fast!


  • Senior Ecologist with 3+ years’ experience based out of our Auckland office - experience of NZ botany and plant ecology, restoration biology and ecological management ideal


  • Principal Ecologist with 5+ years’ consultancy experience based out of our Auckland office – sound field skills covering a range of ecosystems, habitats, and taxa is essential


  • Senior Consulting Ecologist with a post-graduate degree in ecology  based out of our Hamilton office.  Familiar with ecological requirements/provisions of planning regulations in the Waikato Region would be ideal


  • Vegetation Ecologist or Botanist with a post-graduate degree in ecology/botany or higher based out of our Tauranga office – experience with common bird species (forest and wetland) would be useful




  • Principal/Senior Ecologist based out of our Wellington office – experience with writing tender responses, contract reports, and managing fieldwork, vegetation, flora, fauna and freshwater ecosystems experience ideal


  • Ecologist or Botanist with a post-graduate degree in ecology/botany or higher based out of our Wellington office.


  • Senior Ecologist or Ecologist (Freshwater) with 5+ years of relevant professional experience  based in Gisborne/Napier.


  • Field Ecologist and Team Leader with a qualification in ecology/botany or equivalent based out of our Invercargill office.  Good plant identification skills essential.


  • Consultancy experience (Desirable)
  • Strong New Zealand ecology knowledge
  • Experience in ecological effects assessment, management and restoration

Hours: Preferred hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (flexibility will be considered).
