As a Senior Construction Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to the site on which you are based, from agreed feasibility budget through to the final account settlement.
The role will include but not be limited to:
Work on projects from concept, pre-construction through to final delivery
Take a lead role in material procurement and ordering, supplier invoice management, monitoring labour and material budgets, document control and change order administration
Prepare subcontract agreements and commercially manage subcontract packages
Be prepared to be actively involved in the projects and work closely with site teams
Get a thorough commercial understanding of all aspects of construction
Interact and build relationships with other external stakeholders
To be successful in this role you will require a relevant tertiary relationship and extensive industry experience on large, commercial projects. You will have an innovative personality and constantly strive for continuous improvement. In addition to this you will have a 'can do' attitude, be a team player and have excellent communication skills.
