Job Description:

This is perhaps one of the most interesting and varied roles that we have ever recruited for. Our client is an International Freight Forwarder with offices worldwide. This role reports directly to the General Manager and is designed to ensure that the business and services offered by the organisation remain resilient and competitive.

The role is responsible for:

Negotiation of rates with carriers
Negotiation of services with carriers
Liaison with Accounts incl Key Accounts
Freight Operations where required import/Export
Trade Lane Management where required
Rates management into Auto Rating system and updates

The ideal candidate will hold a Business qualification or alternatively approximately 5 years experience within an International Freight Forwarder.  Reflective of this the package offered is generous to $80k PA.
